Founded in 2006, Portal International IPR Group specializes in patents and trademarks, helping clients secure legal protection for their innovations.

- 2006Founded at the NTU Shuiyuan CampusEstablished as Portal International IPR Office
- 2010Expanded business units and offices, and began operating as a group
- 2016Marked with an anniversary celebration and a patent seminar series
- 2021Welcomed clients and partners in Taipei to thank them for fifteen years of trust and support
- 2026Relocated to a new office in the Baolei Building to continue serving our clients
About our name
Our Chinese name, 博拓 (Bo-Tuo), is a transliteration of "Portal". It reflects our role as our clients' gateway to intellectual property, drawing on resources across jurisdictions to address their needs professionally and efficiently.
We bring together professionals across technical fields and work closely with partner firms worldwide, assigning each matter to a team suited to its nature.
