Patent Salon on June 27, 2016, two topics: 1. European Unitary Patents, 2. Effective IP Strategies in Japan
PIIP group successfully held the second 「Patent Salon」 of 2016 on Jane 27.in Hsinchu Science Park AUO(AU Optronics Corp.) main meeting room, inviting Mr. Davide Petraz of Italian GLP lawyer firm to give a lecture of「The differences between European Unitary Patents and National Patents, and the election strategies as well」。
The speaker Mr. Davide Petraz introduced European Unitary Patent System especially via an inspective view of Operation system of Italian Patent Office. The attendants all appreciated that the viewpoint has a unique style.
Then, the second part of the 「Patent Salon」, PIIP invited Mr. Masashi Moriwaki of Japanese IP firm to give a lecture of 「Effective IP Strategies in Japan」. This title includes a more efficient and effective route of Japanese patent application, patent search tools, the strategies of opposition and invalidation, etc. The attendants all considered the contents of 「Effective IP Strategies in Japan」 new and attractive, and this lecture changed them a lot of stereotypes of Japanese patent prosecution.
