On August 25, 2017, PIIP Group hosted the second “Patent Salon” event at the Tainan Cheng-Kung University Conference Hall and invited the President Washida Kouichi and Patent Attorney Mr Sagawa of Washida International Patent Firm, to share the first topic “The Patent Application Strategy for Obtaining a strong patent “.
Through practical cases, Mr Sagawa explained that before the other countries in the world to apply patents, the applicants can first to speed up the initial examination in Taiwan or Japan, and then analyze the results of accelerated examination, and then reflected the result in the rest of the world’s applications. This route is very effective. If the patent application gets allowance, then further divide the application, to build a powerful patent protection network.
The latter part of the seminar was presented by PIIP Chief Joe Huang with respect to the topic of ” Ultimate integration between Patent and business management: Combination Attack of Patent transactions, Patent investment and Patent litigation “. In the era of knowledge economy, patent assets in the enterprise to implement the practical situation, so that intellectual property of the transaction and investment can become an essential winning factor in the market competition.
