Taiwan and Poland launched the PPH MOTTAINAI project
Taiwan and Poland launched the Patent Examination Highway (PPH MOTTAINAI) program on August 1, 2017. This is a new collaborative release after the cooperation of PPH in the United States, Japan, Spain and Korea.
Taiwan and Poland PPH cooperation project can speed up both sides of the invention patent case review speed, so that applicants can quickly obtain a patent. It is conducive to promoting the applicant business and innovation of the patent layout.
Taiwan and Poland signed the PPH MOTTAINAI project, the applicant on the same invention in the two countries to apply for a patent, any country patent office first comes out the examination results, patent applicant can apply to another patent office PPH application to speed up the examination.
For example, the people in Taiwan first filed a patent application, and then filed the same invention to Poland to apply for a patent. If the Polish Patent Office issued an examination result, then the applicant can then apply to the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office for PPH application.
This cooperation can provide more efficient examination services for both countries’ applicants and hope that the applicants may make more use of PPH MOTTAINAI.
