Taiwan’s Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) new trademark search system has been formally launched on-line trial operation (URL：https://twtmsearch.tipo.gov.tw ). The users can click on the original URL search system (URL：http://tmsearch.tipo.gov.tw/TIPO_DR/index.jsp ), click on the bottom of the home page URL; or in the browser’s URL field, enter the following URL: https://twtmsearch.tipo.gov.tw, both ways can direct connection to the new trademark retrieval system.
The new trademark search system strengthens the search functions of the original trademark search system, including:
(1) Enhance the inquiry interface of “Boolean” and “non-traditional mark” and provide more complete search conditions.
(2) Enhance the “Trademark Single Statement” function, in a single page, the integrity of the case from application to registration of the complete information, including: basic information, time series (TimeLine), the history of the case (general receipt, controversy / administrative relief ), disposition document, trademark registration and so on.
The new online trademark search system supports the following browsers: Chrome, Safari, IE, Firefox, etc. The new search functions are really helpful for trademark practitioners.
