Patterson & Sheridan LLP visited PIIP headquarter and offered a presentation

Patterson & Sheridan LLP partners, also US patent attorneys, Mr. Jerry R. Selinger and Mr. Jason C. Huang visited PIIP Taipei headquarter on March 4, and offered a presentation on the theme: “Recent cases on software patentability after Alice.” Mr. Jerry R. Selinger and Mr. Jason C. Huang described the effect of software patent litigation related to US Patent Law Section 101, as well as the impact by different cases for the drafting of patent scope. Due to the plentiful content in detail and clarity, the presentation had good interaction and results. We benefit greatly by this presentation. The patent agents and engineers of PIIP are not unfamiliar anymore with the patent eligibility issue of software in the United States.
