Patent Salon for Germany
PIIP held the Patent Salon for China. On April 14 afternoon, we invited the German patent agent Dr. Xiao-Lei Shi from Manitz, Finsterwald & Partner GbR and provided two topics ” 1.EP Patent System History, Today and Future; 2.the Opposition process of European Patent”. The European Unitary patent system will be implemented in the foreseeable future. The new system draws attention and concern by IP fields. Because the expert is rare in Taiwan, especially for precisely analyzing characteristics of the differences between the new system and the old one. Dr. Shi’s speech attracted many IP fraternities. The second topic: the Opposition process of European Patent is also rarely relevant seminars. Our VIPs agreed this salon was very special and meaningful. Dr. Shi’s personality and professional knowledge are superb. His experience in the practice is rich, so that he won high praise from our clients.
