On May 15, 2020, EUCJIC and the commercial college of Beijing Union University invited guests to join an online seminar regarding “Post-epidemic Times-Intellectual Property Protection for Cross-Border Business” via live stream. The content of this seminar contained judicial system and intellectual property cases in EU, intellectual property development and cases of Cross-Border e-Commerce, the development of Chinese New Drug intellectual property rights. It attracted more than 3,000 global viewers to watch at the same time.

 COVID-19 swept the world and brought huge economic impact and changes to human life in 2020.

Among them, Mr. Huang Guozhou, a senior partner of PIIP and the director of the European China International Intellectual Property Center, was also invited to share his observations about the relationship, future trends and challenges between new finance, new economy and intellectual property protection. Besides, it also analyzed the protection and layout of the new financial and economic intellectual property rights of many well-known international and Chinese companies or organizations.
